God, that is so exactly my motto about RP. Like, as much as you want to, you just can't hold everybody's hand - at a certain point, a player has to get in there and build relationships for themselves, create plots for themselves, and you came right in and did that so fearlessly. Like, i am honestly going to be annoyed at the next Avengers movie when the boys piss Natasha off and she can't just pick up the phone and go "JANE COME TO THE TOWER BECAUSE I HATE EVERY MAN I WORK WITH."
Oh, I know! It's my motto too! I've modded a few games on that exact principle. The shortest lived one lasted two years. The longest? Seven years. I gave them worlds, worlds they can identify with, and monthly plots, and I can't tell you how I wanted to tear my hair out when someone quit with the excuse that they didn't have anything to do for their character. It's like I CAN'T PLAY YOUR TOONS TOO!

IKR! His annoying is only annoying to *other* people. He doesn't even annoy Jane even a little bit now because she saw that flicker in his eyes when she first signed in ASL to him. She's like "NOPE, BACK OFF, HE'S MY FRIEND."
Hee, this is just so great. Natasha is half-thrilled that Jane would do that for him and half-oh-God-this-is-how-Clint-feels-when-Steve-makes-an-inside-joke-at-me.
Jane will teach Natasha ASL if she doesn't know it. <3 It's more like how Clint feels every time a big fireball or missile is coming and Natasha instinctively dives under Steve's shield. He knows Steve has Natasha's back.
Heee, no, no, she knows ASL. They had a moment one night when she said she liked watching his hands, he said he liked watching her mouth, and he suggested he take his tech out more often so he can read her lips and she can watch his hands. It's more just like "that was a thing that only we used to share. IT'S GOOD TO SHARE IT WITH MORE PEOPLE, AND I AM AN ADULT. Just, it's a little strange, too."
Awww, well, Natasha has no need to be jealous. She knows Jane loves her. And it's just something they use while undercover because its an added layer of security.
Isn't it funny how that kind of thing happens when you have the right writer to work with? :) I seriously <3 your Nat and Lex's Clint. They are perfect together. Perfect.
Oh! I should warn you, tomorrow night I'm flying out for Korea. I'll have my tablet with me, but I'll be relying on airport wifi in Seattle (layover), then 14 hours on a flight with none. :(
